And of course a favorite of mine, hence the books, Edmond Dantes, The Count of Monte Cristo. One of the best fictional characters to come about, going from above average to far beyond. He played one of the best cat and mouse games ever. There of course have been many incarnations of Edmond Dantes in the media, which just shows the relevance he still has today. A great character that all should give a read. Have you read The Count of Monte Cristo?

ReplyDeleteI've read and enjoyed much of Alexandre Dumas's work—in fact I named my dog d'Artagnan—but I haven't read the Count of Monte Cristo. *hangs head in shame*
