And of course there is one of the worst ways to go, nukes. It is a toss up between this and a plague which would be the worst way to go. I suppose at least a plague you could hide from, a nuke, not so much.
With tensions high most of the time around the world all it takes is one slip up and the rest of the planet pays the price. Humans are great at building things that destroy everything it seems. Do you have any fears over a nuclear war?
All it takes is one crazy at the helm
ReplyDeleteits pretty funny that during the cold war they used to have drills in school getting kids to hide under their desk in case of a nuke...errrr...
ReplyDeleteI remember seeing videos of that. Where can I get one of these nuke-proof desks? Such incredible technology, must of been a gift from aliens.
DeleteYep, this one is the scariest of them all.
ReplyDeleteI was going to say what Brian said. During the Cuban missile crisis, we were living in California but had only returned from living in South Korea for nearly three years. Not all that many years after the Korean War. Want to be scared? Read Neville Shute's "On the Beach".
ReplyDeleteThe under the desk thing is sooooo ridiculous. But yeah scary indeed
ReplyDeleteNo fears, really. Just the knowledge that anything can happen.
ReplyDeleteI guess I'll take getting Nuked over the plague. A nuke death would be much quicker.
ReplyDeleteI think I'd take a plague over a nuclear war. At least there would be hope to either escape the plague or have a cure. There's no outrunning a nuclear war!
