It's been used in science fiction sense the beginning of science fiction. The holy grail of sorts in science fiction of what many would like to see, or rather not see, come about.
And it is becoming that much more closer to actual science and not fiction. The military and such want it for obvious reasons, not sure on the public use, as military or public it would obviously be abused.
WOW, that is a scary thought. However, I would like to be invisible sometimes and spy on all sorts of people.
ReplyDeleteScary how good science is getting, isn't it? Limitations seem to be less and less.
ReplyDeleteThe things one could do with that
ReplyDeleteI think sometimes I am invisible to my Husband. When I talk he sometimes just looks at me like I am not even there... Hmmmmmmmm
ReplyDeleteBe scary what some people would do with it
ReplyDeletewould be an awesome power
ReplyDeleteWhile it would be totally awesome to have that power, I could definitely see it being abused my sick individuals.
ReplyDeleteI watched a program on the science channel about an invisibility cover on stealth fighter planes. It's fascinating, but scary if it got into the wrong hands!
ReplyDeleteits pretty crazy when you think about how far we have come even in the last 10 years...
ReplyDeletethere are some pretty cool cloaking devices developed by military that lets tanks appears as cars and things like that...well only under heat cameras but still kinda cool
ReplyDeleteSometimes I feel invisible, even though I am not.
ReplyDeleteA personal cloaking device would be darn nice at times. Me and Harry Potter.
It's always first the military, then the public. It's just a matter of time.
