Kamerlengo Castle

Kamerlengo Castle was built in the mid 15th century and  was a hopping spot for many years. It was the location of many performances during the summer months. It was first nothing but a tower and then it was expanded into a castle. Kind of looks like nothing more than a big jail.

  5. Maybe keeping people in was as important as keeping people out?

  8. It looks more like a castle than the past one. Although the chain link fence does give it a penitentiary kind of feel!

  11. It does look like a jail. I bet inside those walls were some bars somewhere.
