With swimming being a main thing to do in the summer, would you like to know about ocean acidification? Should the C02 levels keep rising the ocean could become so acidic that a dinosaur type extinction takes place. Dip your toe in first the next time you go to the beach to be sure.
eeep...um yeah, or you could lose a few pounds really fast...ha
ReplyDeleteWhich is why I prefer the pool.
ReplyDeleteI don't swim in the ocean anymore. On vacation, we made sure we had a pool in the house we rented.

ReplyDeleteI love Pat's comment. I'll add another, drinking water... Fluoride. Got any more?
ReplyDeleteWith a desalinization plant nearby, I wonder is the water balance is skewed. We have a pool, but seldom take the plunge. Why, I don't know.
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing like swimming in the ocean, lake, river or even the pool. So...I'm hoping for this little fact not to happen, at least in my lifetime.
ReplyDeleteAnd to think I used to worry about getting tangled up in seaweed. Now we will have a whole new set of problems to worry about :(
