Hong Kong Returns

Always enjoyed history and factor many things from it into my books. So I thought it would be fun to do a history week. Yes, you can find them elsewhere, but I am still going to post them. Also figured this week will be slow do to holidays. So here you are.

This Day in History:

Hong Kong returned to China - 1997

The first Pg-13 rating debuts - 1984

Canada's Independence Day - 1867

The last Ford Thunderbird was produced - 2005

The first Sony Walkman went on sale - 1979

Any of these ring a bell?

  3. If you even count that last generation of Thunderbird as a real Thunderbird. And this is coming from a Ford guy.

  5. I remember the return of Hong Kong and thinking what might happen to the culture. The walkman was a big event, as it opened up the door for further technology; it also was a favorite gift for any age.
