Swimming

With swimming being a main thing to do in the summer, would you like to know about ocean acidification? Should the C02 levels keep rising the ocean could become so acidic that a dinosaur type extinction takes place. Dip your toe in first the next time you go to the beach to be sure.

The Hulk

No, hopefully humans won't be hulking out any time soon. But should a large star collapse inward towards a black hole, it could send gamma ray bursts across the universe and those in the 3000 light year range won't be too happy. As in earth exploding unhappy. Another fact you knew?

Carbon What?

With all the talk of Carbon Dioxide causing global warming, did you ever consider oxygen to be just as bad? Well billions of years ago Cyanobacteria, created an abundance oxygen in a carbon dioxide rich planet, causing a mass extinction. I guess we aren't the only planet killers.

Cryogenics

Want to go into the deep freeze? Many companies out there are sure lapping up the cash to let you do so. Some are even using nothing more than your head. The rest of your body can go be buried while your head remains. Doesn't that sound appealing?

Ding To Humanity

I always like to keep up on alternative methods and such, some are obviously a hoax. But there are some good ones to. Yet it may be hard to tell the difference. You go to have a look and there are just as many naysayers as there are those saying it works.

Your first thought is this could be the product owner, creator, etc. hiring people to make it look good. But do you ever think of the opposite?

Yes! Drug companies hire people to go around the internet and debunk anything that could cut into profits. Sad how low some people and organizations will sink.

Teleportation

Teleportation would be the next big step in travel. Theoretically it could be done, but would you want to be faxed off like a piece of paper? Except in this case the paper you fax disappears. Or maybe it doesn't and you end up with a clone on the other side. You could also end up dying on the side you left and being remade on the other side down to the tiniest molecule. So who wants to volunteer first?

Boldogkovaralja

Boldogkovaralja, sounds like a weird disease. Can you say it three times fast? I am filling up room because not much is known out there about this castle. I liked the look of it though. It resides in Hungary.

Tarascon chateau

Construction on the Tarascon chateau began in 1401 after the previous castle was destroyed. It was completed in 1449. It was then turned into a military prison during the 17th century until it was acquired  by the state in 1932.  It is said a mythical monster the Tarasque ravaged the town during the first century. Wouldn't want to meet that ugly fellow.
