NO! Babies have soft heads, if they rolled over and hit that cage it could really hurt them. And if the cage is not made of something hard, still no. Babies have cribs, use them. :)
Bad idea all around
I'm with Rosey. Put them in a bassinet or in a crib. That's what they are made for. I don't even cage my pets. There's no way I would cage my baby!

Not a good idea, on many levels. I think there is furniture created specifically for babies; it is a crib, works pretty well.
They put me in a cage when I was a baby. See how I ended up... Just saying.
